Volcano in Alaska - Pending Eruption

So, I don't think I'm an idiot or living in a cave. Except, I haven't heard about this on any televised news stations... I don't know if that's because it's in Alaska or if it really isn't that big of a deal. I would think a volcano erupting is a big deal. Especially when it involves displacing people.

Groundbreaking Agreement

There has been a new groundbreaking agreement made between publishers and authors and Google.  You can read more about that here.  I wouldn't recommend it, unless you're either a lawyer, have tons of time, like hurting your brain, or in general, wickedly bored.  Yeah, wickedly.  The better side of all of this is you get to read a ton of stuff for free.  Who knows for how long.  I don't, I didn't read the mumbo-jumbo of the agreement.  I'd rather not bog myself down with all the nitty-gritty details of it all.  Just enjoy the fruits of someone else's labor.  That is what we Americans are know for, is it not?

 

So, really, check out issues of magazines, periodicals, and books here.

 

Who knows, you might be able to go ahead and cancel that Men's Health, Wine Enthusiast or Adventure magazine subscription.
